Kremlin Press Secretary confirmed to have the new coronavirus. Dmitry Peskov, who is currently at the hospital, released the information about his condition.

"Yes, I am sick. I am undergoing treatment," the Press Secretary said.

According to Peskov, he was in contact with Russian President Vladimir Putin about a month ago.

Earlier, Russian media reported that Peskov was likely infected with the virus, although this information has not been officially confirmed till now.

Olga Lyubimova, the Minister of Culture of Russia, confirmed to have the new coronavirus on May 1.

Mikhail Mishustin, the Prime Minister of Russia, tested positive on coronavirus on April 30.

Vladimir Yakushev Minister of Construction Industry, Housing and Utilities Sector, and his deputy, Dimitry Volkov, also tested positive on May 1.
