"Azerbaijan and Armenia are working to open transport and energy corridors in the region. Turkey supports this," Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey made the statement at the 10th meeting of the Turkey-Romania Strategic Cooperation Council.
He said Ankara supports the steps taken by Yerevan and Baku in this direction.
The Minister said that the liberation from the occupation of its lands by Azerbaijan provided an opportunity for stability, peace, and prosperity.
A working group at the level of Vice-Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia is working to negotiate the opening of transport and energy corridors in the region.
