Reportedly, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey, Suleiman Soylu has applied for resignation.

After leaving the Democratic Party on September 5, 2012, Suleiman Soylu was invited by Erdogan to join the Party of Justice and Development. A 50-year-old Turkish politician was assigned to the position of Internal Affairs Minister on September 31, 2016.

The reason for his resignation is the unexpected introduction of curfew, long lines at food markets, that created risks for the virus spread.
