"The information spread by the Armenian side on the alleged concentration of a large number of forces by the Azerbaijan Army to enter Hadrut and the fierce battles conducted in this direction is misinformation," the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry stated.
"The Azerbaijani Army liberated Hadrut from occupation several days ago. The Azerbaijani Army strongly complies with the humanitarian truce and does not conduct active combat actions," the agency revealed.
The territory of Goranboy, Tartar, and Aghdam regions is under fire by the Armenian armed forces.
"The Armenian armed forces shelled villages in the Aghdam region," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry revealed the information.
However, according to the agency's press service, on the night of October 11-12, the situation remained tense along the entire front.
The units of the Armenian Armed Forces attacked the positions of the Azerbaijani Army in small groups in the direction of Aghdere-Aghdam and Fizuli-Jabrayil. They tried to regain lost positions several times.
"According to the available information, the commander of the 246th Regiment Battalion, Vice-Colonel Arthur Grigorian, is among the numerous casualties of the troops," the ministry said in a statement.
