The Ministry of Health announced that there are 19 400 medics infected with COVID-19 in Spain. The agency reported that this number is 14 percent of those affected.
"About 20 percent of them already got discharged from the hospitals, while 10 percent remain at the clinics. Also, most of them are undergoing treatment at home," the Ministry said in a statement.
According to Pais, 13 medical workers died as a result.
