The letter in the bottle, which got thrown into the ocean off the US coast, was found a year later in Morocco. United Press International reports the story.
The message belongs to the students of one of the schools in the state of North Carolina. In 2019, children were offered to write a letter to a stranger. In the letter, the children indicated the school address and the teacher's email address.
One of the bottles covered 6,000 kilometers, crossed the Atlantic Ocean, and reached Morocco in August of 2020. There, a local fisherman found the letter. With the help of a family member who knew English, the man sent the bottle back to school.
