The number of people infected with the new coronavirus in the United States exceeds 2 million. The Johns Hopkins University published the updated data received from the country's federal and local authorities.
According to the University, 2,000,464 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the United States, while 112,924 people died, and more than 533 thousand recovered.
The most infected area is New York State, followed by New Jersey and California in third place.
