On February 20, a large-scale protest rally was held in Armenia's capital Yerevan, on Freedom Square.

The protesters demanded the resignation of Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The Movement to Save the Motherland was the rally organizer.

Reports say the movement unites about 20 opposition political groups.

Armenia's protests have been underway since November 10, as the opposition blames the prime minister for economic and social problems.

PM Pashinyan says that he is ready to resign if the leading oppositionists agree to a memorandum on holding snap parliamentary elections.
