The United States of America is the leader in the number of infection and fatality cases worldwide. Hence, the USA reports 2,596,770 infection and 128,152 fatal cases.

Brazil is on the second place according to the virus spread indicators with 1,315,941 infection and 57,103 fatal cases.

Russia takes third place by 627,646 cases of infection and 8,969 fatalities.

The number of cases is increasing in India lately. The number of infected people is 529,577, and the death toll has reached 16,103.

Great Britain is on the fifth place with 310,250 infected and 43,514 deceased persons.

Reminder: The first case of coronavirus infection was registered in Wuhan in December 2019. The virus was spread in the proximity of Wuhan’s seafood open market, one of the biggest and most crowded places. The Chinese government did not inform the population about the risks until late December. Moreover, they reported the fact to the World Health Organization only on December 31. Experts say that the number of fatalities by that time exceeded 1000, which was much more than it was reported.

The first coronavirus infection case in Georgia was registered on February 26. By that time, Europe and America were already gripped by the epidemic.
