"Armenia launched an attack against Azerbaijan on September 27. Following the international law, Azerbaijan is carrying out counterattack operations," the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Republic, Parviz Shahbazov, said at the Baku International Energy Charter Forum.
Shahbazov also informed the conference participants that Armenia targets the Mingachevir energy infrastructure and the Southern Gas Corridor.
"Armenia's move poses a serious threat to energy security. Everyone knows the UN resolutions № 822, 853, 874, and 884 on the Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia. Azerbaijan is currently implementing UN resolutions through counterattacks, which have not been implemented yet," Shahbazov said.
