Pharmaceutical company Pfizer will cut the coronavirus vaccine production by 50% due to shipping and transportation issues, Fox News reports.
Following the Fox News agency, Pfizer and BioNTech planned to produce 100 million doses of vaccine by the end of 2020; now, this number has decreased to 50 million.
Researchers say the effectiveness of the drug BNT162b2 reaches 95%, and in the case of people over 65 years old - more than 94%. Severe side effects have not yet been identified in trial participants, more than 40% of whom are people aged 56 to 85 years.
