"In my belief, NATO must expand, because otherwise, the other will expand, it is not good and does not contribute to world peace and stability," the Prime Minister of Slovenia, Janez Janša, stated.
He said the alliance should support NATO countries so that they have a technological advantage, especially in military technologies.
"Enlargement means inviting all the democratic countries that are close to our region and want to join. Enlargement also means inviting other partners, all free and democratic countries, who share our core values," he said.
Speaking at the Brussels Forum, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO allies would reaffirm their decision to make Georgia a member of NATO.
NATO summit will be held today and discuss the issue of Georgia.
