Police made a cautionary blast during the protest march in Brest city of Belarus. The Internal Ministry confirmed the information and said that the rifle blast was accomplished to prevent attacks on security forces.
Reportedly, law enforcers used tear gas, water cannons, and rubber bullets to disperse Brest's riot.
Police started arrests of protesters in some of the cities of Belarus, including Minsk.
Meanwhile, there are problems with the internet throughout the country today.
The country citizens do not recognize the publicized results of the August 9 presidential elections and are holding marches of protest demanding the resignation of President Alexander Lukashenko.
