Portugal will open borders for most of the countries starting May 17, local media outlets say.
Reportedly, Portugal will open borders next week for the EU and Schengen zone countries and the UK.
Though, Portugal will allow only the citizens of the countries where the coronavirus cases do not exceed 500 per 100,000 people.
Travel restrictions remain in force for South Africa, Brazil, India, Cyprus, Croatia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, and Sweden.
