Ilham Aliyev addressed the audience and congratulated Azerbaijanis on Novruz Bayram.
The President of Azerbaijan noted that today is a historic day since, for the first time in 28 years, Azerbaijanis celebrate Novruz Bayram in Shusha.
Ilham Aliyev also stressed that during his presidency, military spending has always been in the first place.
“We had to inform the world community, at the international level, the truth related to the Karabakh conflict, and we were able to do it. We actively worked in international organizations and achieved the adoption of important decisions and resolutions that are beneficial to us, reflect the reality, reflect international law based on it. It became the legal basis for our victory, the legal basis for the restoration of justice.
There is probably no country in the world that has developed as rapidly as Azerbaijan in recent years. We had to accumulate military power, and this direction was the primary task. It is no coincidence that military spending has always been in the first place during my presidency, ”said Ilham Aliyev.
