Presidents Hassan Rouhani and Tayyip Erdogan discussed the opportunity to open the air borders between the two countries.
“In current developments, the opening of air and terrestrial borders and resumption of trade, under the condition that the medical regulations are sustained, is essential.” – reads the Rouhani’s letter.
The President of Turkey responds that he will issue the corresponding decree in the nearest future.
Rouhani and Erdogan also discussed the possibility of experience sharing on the coronavirus-related topics. They declared that the process would bring benefits to both countries.
