Protest at Serbian Parliament

The protest against the anti-pandemic policy undertaken by President Alexander Vucic has been taking place at the Parliament in Serbia's capital for several days. At the President's decision, the curfew is introduced in the city. A group of protestors broke into the building of Parliament in Belgrade after the confrontation with the police.

Protestors threw bottles and stones to the Parliament. Law enforcers used tear gas to disperse the protesters.

On July 7, the President of Serbia introduced the curfew in effect July 10-13, thus causing a backlash from a big part of the society. The government prohibits gatherings of more than ten people as well.
