Russian President Vladimir Putin is working on another appeal to the population. According to Dmitry Peskov, the President's spokesman, he will make an announcement by the end of the day.
Putin addressed the citizens on Sunday, March 25, and declared the current week to be free of work. Following the appeal, self-isolation got announced to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Moscow and most parts of Russia. Whether Putin will extend the non-working period is still unknown.
The number of people infected with coronavirus in Russia increased by 771 in the last 24 hours, reaching 3548, the highest rate to date in the country. Since the spread of the virus, 30 people died of an infection. 235 patients recovered, and 3283 infected continue treatment at the hospital.
