As the authors of the paper say, the closer the contact, the greater the chance of infection with the coronavirus. The risk was lower in public transport, food, and entertainment than in contact with a broader circle of relatives.
Family members living together are at the highest risk of infection. Scientists cite frequent contacts during self-isolation as a possible cause. At the same time, every day spent in the same house with a coronavirus infected increases the probability of transmitting the disease by 10%.
