Commercial use of air taxis in the South Korean capital will begin in 2025, KBS TV spreads information.
The data is cited in the document "The concept of urban air mobility," adopted by the Ministry of State Territories, Infrastructure, and Transport.
According to the plan, the initial phase of air taxi distribution will be implemented in the period 2025-2029. During the first phase, the presence of the pilot in the vehicle is mandatory. Then the pilot will be able to control the taxi remotely, and in the third stage, the transport will be fully autonomous.
Vertical landing points will be used as stops and landing centers.
Air taxis fly in specially designated corridors at altitudes of 300 to 600 meters.
