The city of Shusha may be declared the capital of the Islamic world.
The statement came from Azerbaijani Culture Minister Anar Karimov at a press conference.
"Culture is very important in Azerbaijan. We have proposed for Shusha to become the capital of the Islamic world. This is an important topic for us," said the Minister of Culture.
Earlier, the city of Shusha was declared the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
