Special quarantine measures are set to be carried out in Azerbaijan from 24 March to 20 April.
At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, ministers discussed the current situation in the country and decided that a special quarantine regime needed to be introduced in the country to prevent the spread of the virus.
In accordance with the new regime, people over 65 will be forbidden to leave their houses; vehicles (except for ambulances, emergency vehicles, and lorries) will be banned from entering Baku. The transportation of passengers will stop. Social gatherings with more than ten people will be banned, and malls closed. Supermarkets, food stores, and pharmacies only will keep functioning.
