An intense dust storm hit South Korea from the deserts of northern China and Mongolia. It spread throughout the country.
According to theKorea Meteorological Administration, the concentration of fine dust particles with a diameter of less than 10 micrometers (PM.10) has increased to a very dangerous level.
According to weather forecasters, the PM.10 will remain at the highest level in the country until the end of March 29 and at a "dangerous" level until March 31.
Authorities are urging citizens with respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, as well as children, to refrain from going outside as much as possible.
