Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra reported the departure of Health Minister Elizabeth Hinostroza from the cabinet amid coronavirus spread. He declared the decision during the press conference.
"We found it appropriate to replace our health minister by a professional with more experience in dealing with the health issues that the country faces now," – said the Head of the country.
It is yet unknown who will be appointed to the position.
According to the latest information from the WHO, novel coronavirus cases reached 263 in Peru, killing four people.
