A nephew of King Philip of Belgium, Prince Joachim, was confirmed the novel coronavirus-positive, writes Reuters.
Prince Joachim, 28, traveled from Belgium to Spain for a party on May 26.
The Belgian palace said that the Prince has traveled to Spain on May 24. According to El Pais, the Belgian Prince attended the party together with 26 people. All party attendees were under medical observation.
According to the Kingdom, an investigation into the case is launched since the number of people attending the party was beyond the permitted norm. Group meetings in Spain are allowed when the number of participants does not exceed fifteen.
