Aiming at prevention of COVID-19 spread, the government extends the social distancing measures for two weeks in the UK, reports CNN.
According to the main epidemiological center of the country, the infection spread rate has decreased. Based on Neil Ferguson, it is the result of the 85 percent decrease in the number of people in the streets under the conditions of quarantine.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson says that the quarantine will last until the number of infections significantly decrease.
Based on the data from the country Health Ministry, the total number of COVID-19 infected people is 38,168, with the death toll of 3,605.
