There is a version that the high fatality rate caused by coronavirus might be the lack of D vitamin, reads the research implemented by specialists of Queen Elizabeth Hospital Fund and East England University.

According to the research published by Research Square, the specialists have defined the average rate of D vitamin in the population of twenty European countries. The scientists have compared the mentioned data in these countries with the fatality rate data caused by the coronavirus and have found a significant connection between these two. It turned out that the lower the D vitamin in population, the higher the fatality rate.

According to scientists, D vitamin blocks acute respiratory infection. They recommend us to take D vitamin to protect ourselves from the novel virus. Though, it should be mentioned that the WHO has not made its comment about the fact. One should remember that the D vitamin in excessive volume is harmful to the organism.
