Thousands of people came to the Parliament Square in London to protest Afro-American George Floyd’s murder, Standard writes.
Participants of anti-racist demonstration paid tribute to the memory of George Floyd by a minute of silence and taking a knee.
In parallel with London demonstration took place in Manchester, Cardiff, Sheffield, and other cities.
Part of the population protested the acts of protests due to the coronavirus epidemic. In response, the protesters say there are even more dangerous viruses than COVID-19, which is racism.
Almost a festival atmosphere here at the #BlackLivesMatter protest on Parliament Square. Spirits not dampened by the rain.
