Lithuania has reportedly destroyed 5,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine after they expired.
According to the Lithuanian vaccination center head, they may also have to throw away other vaccines or donate them to other countries as the number of people willing to take them is dwindling.
Lithuania has confirmed more than 279,000 cases and 4,404 deaths since the outbreak. As the official data have it, Lithuania has vaccinated around 44% of the public.
