"We have left the worst-case scenarios behind. Compared to 2020, when the virus started spreading, we now know a lot more about it," Kluge said.
The Regional Director for Europe said that the virus would not disappear, although, after some time, restrictions will no longer be necessary. The specialist also noted that this is just a prediction, and no one can really say how events could develop.
