In an interview with the Washington Post daily, US President Donald Trump said that he did not want the United States to leave NATO, writes Business World. Reportedly, the US will stay in NATO, but the members of allies must increase their share.
John Bolton, the National Security former advisor, writes in his book that Trump intended to frighten the NATO leaders by leaving the block if the member countries did not pay the membership fee of 2% of their countries’ GDP.
