US President Donald Trump will meet Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, in Washington on January 28. The US president says he is looking forward to meeting Netanyahu and Benny Gantz, the opposition leader of Israel.
At the meeting, politicians will discuss a Middle East peace plan called the "deal of the century."
According to preliminary reports, according to the peace plan, Washington recognizes Israel's sovereignty over Jewish settlements on the West Bank and throughout Jerusalem, as well as the State of Palestine. It calls for the disarmament of Hamas and the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel by Palestinians.
The United States looks forward to welcoming Prime Minister @Netanyahu & Blue & White Chairman @Gantzbe to the @WhiteHouse next week. Reports about details and timing of our closely-held peace plan are purely speculative.
