U.S. Republican Adam Kinzinger has decided to leave the U.S. congress. He refuses to participate in the U.S. reelection.
According to Kinzinger, the time has come for him to make the decision.
"In Congress, I've witnessed how division is heavily rooted. There is little to no desire to bridge our differences, and unity is no longer the word we use.
It has also become increasingly obvious to me that in order to break the narrative, I cannot focus on both the reelection to Congress and a broader fight nationwide,'' he said.
Kinzinger is also a co-chair of the Friends of Georgia Group in the United States Congress.
