According to the country's Health Ministry, the death toll from coronavirus in the UK increased by 428 in the past day.
The total death toll from the virus reached 33,614.
The number of infected, including the recovered and the dead, reached 233,151, with 3,446 people infected in the past 24 hours.
More than 1.5 million people have been tested for the new coronavirus in the country.
