Ukraine puts Georgia on Red Zone list

Ukraine introduced a new classification of countries according to "Green" and "Red" zone countries. Georgia got into the "Red Zone" countries list, writes local media. Reportedly, in the "Red Zone" list are the countries where the number of coronavirus new cases per 100 thousand of the population during the last 14 days exceeds Ukraine's comparable data.

Besides the above, in the "Red Zone" list are the countries in which the number of coronavirus cases has increased by 30% during the last two weeks.

According to the new regulations, the travelers from the "Red Zone" countries will have to either present the coronavirus test results or stay 14 days in self-isolation.

The Health Ministry of Ukraine updates the countries list once every seven days.

According to the list dated July 31, 127 countries are in the "Red Zone" list and 67 – in the "Green Zone" list.
