Unidentified persons hijacked a plane in Afghanistan, which was supposed to take Ukrainians out of the country, but instead, other passengers were brought to Iran. The information was revealed by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Yevgheniy Yenin.
"Other people hijacked our plane. Last Tuesday, our plane was actually stolen - instead of transporting the Ukrainian passengers, it flew to Iran with an unknown group of people," he said.
He said the kidnappers were armed with firearms.
The Deputy Minister did not specify how the incident ended.
