The National Health Commission of China revealed that the first vaccine for new coronavirus might be ready in April and used in cases of emergency.
"We hope that some vaccines will reach the clinical trial stage in April or be ready for use in emergencies," said Zheng Zhongwei, the director of the China National Health and Science Center.
According to him, dozens of Chinese vaccine research institutions are involved in the process and are working on different types of vaccines.
