Santa Claus has immunity to the coronavirus, and this year he will distribute the gifts without delay. The head of the WHO Health Emergencies Programme, Maria Van Kerkhove, announced the information at a briefing.
She said the World Health Organization shared children's concerns that "Santa Claus, as an older man, is at risk when it comes to the virus."
"However, I can tell you that Santa Claus has immunity to this virus. We talked to him, he is fine. Mrs. Claus is fine too," Kerkhove said.
The representative of the World Health Organization stressed that children should maintain a social distance with Santa and trust their parents in matters of hygiene.
