Woman gives birth to child with two heads and three hands

In the Indian state of Odisha, a woman has given birth to a daughter who has three hands and two heads, Zoom News reports.

The girl was born by caesarean section.

"The newborn eats with two mouths and breathes with two noses. These are two sisters who are united in one body and have three arms and two legs," says pediatrician Debashi Sahu.

Doctors assess the child's condition as stable. She was transferred to the Institute of Pediatrics for observation. The parents of the newborn apply to the state for funding for the treatment.
