Azerbaijan exports 28 thousand tons of petcoke

In January of 2021, Azerbaijan exported 28 thousand tons of petroleum coke. As the Customs Declaration data have it, a total of 28.1 thousand tons of coke has been exported from Georgia, with the country receiving a revenue of $ 1.685 mln. The share of petcoke exports amounted to 0.1% of the country's total exports. 

Azerbaijan carries out coke exports through Georgia. A while ago, exports of coke produced in the state-owned Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery started in India.

A total of 25 thousand tons of coke have been transported from Azerbaijan to India since early-2021.

ADY Express ltd of the Azerbaijan Railways CSC transports the freight to the Poti port in Georgia; from the port, the freight is loaded on the vessel and transported to different countries, in this specific case, India.

In November and December of 2020, ADY Express transported a total of 27 thousand tons of coke to the Poti port to be sent to China.
