Giga Bokeria, a member of the European Georgia party, has been questioned in a magistrate judge's presence. Bokeria himself put forward this requirement.
The necessity of asking further questions to Bokeria emerged concerning the ongoing criminal investigation into possible abuse of power by high officials at the National Security Council, according to Prosecutor Beka Kvitsiani.
Giga Bokeria was first summoned to the General Prosecutor's Office for questioning; however, he refused to do so and announced that he would give testimony in the presence of a magistrate judge only.
