Gigi Ugulava, a member of the European Georgia, has given himself up to police officers. He will soon be transported to Matrosov Prison.
Mr. Ugulava was declared guilty, charged with squandering funds in the so-called foundation case, and sentenced to three years in prison.
The European Georgia party member learned about the decision at the Labour Party office, at which the united opposition meeting was underway. He went to the European Georgia office afterward. After saying goodbye to his team members, he arrived at the MIA and gave himself up to law enforcers.
