Gogi Tsulaia's charges aggravated

According to Gogi Tsulai's lawyer, the charges against his client have been aggravated.

Gogi Tsulaia was charged under Article 138 of the Criminal Code, which stipulates similar acts of sexual violence and, if convicted, carries a sentence of 4 to 6 years in prison.

Initially, the investigation was launched under the first part of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies violence.

Gogi Tsulaia, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was arrested on charges of violence against a woman in a rented apartment.

The victim, in this case, is a young woman who accuses Tsulaia of sexual violence.

Tsulaia went on a hunger strike in the pre-trial detention isolator today in protest.
