According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Gogi Tsulaia, a former member of Free Georgia, abused a woman he knew in a rented apartment.
"Employees of the Tbilisi Main Division of the Patrol Police Department as a result of operative and investigative actions detained G.Ts., born in 1963 in Tbilisi, on charges of violence. The investigation established that the accused man had physically abused an acquaintance - A.D., born in 1979 at a rented apartment in Tbilisi. Patrol police officers, as a result of urgent investigative actions, arrested G.Ts. as an accused. The investigation is underway under the first part of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates violence," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
