MP Mariam Jashi, who has left the parliamentary majority, has declared that providing Giorgi Kvirikashvili re-enters politics, she will join his team.
"As far as I'm concerned, Giorgi Kvirikashvili doesn't intend to return to politics; however, in view of the present state of affairs and polarized environment, his return may be immensely positive. In the event that he decides to take this step, it's highly probable that I'll join his team," Jashi said.
Mariam Jashi has headed the Education, Science and Culture Committee of the Parliament of Georgia. She left the parliamentary majority on 14 November, after the parliament rejected the bill on the proportional election system.
