The President of Georgia reflected on the Georgia Dream and opposition agreement. Salome Zurabishvili has written on her Facebook that it is the victory of the society.
“The achieved agreement has to be reviewed as a victory of the society. The reasonable compromise and of this kind create all conditions to conduct peaceful and just elections. Peace, stability, and democracy is our common goal,” – reads President’s post.
As for the 2020 elections, the ruling party and opposition agreed on a 120/30 model and a 1 percent barrier today. They also agreed that the party which gets 40 percent of votes has the right to form the government.
