Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth of Georgia Tea Tsulukiani has responded to Giorgi Gakharia's statement, which he made after returning to the political scene.
Tsulukiani says that Gakharia can create a counterweight opposition party of the Georgian Dream Coalition as he knows its strong and weak points perfectly well.
''Hopefully, he knows what he is doing. He is a consummate professional, and if he appears in the political scene, he will be our true opposition, and unlike other opposition parties, he will enjoy specific benefits. I myself served as a vice prime-minister when he was in the office of the prime minister, and he knows perfectly well what my weak and strong points are, but I also know what his strong and weak points are,'' Tsulukiani told ''Radio Imedi.''
On March 22, the former PM told journalists that he has no plans to go anywhere.
Giorgi Gakharia left his post on Feb 18.
