Republican Hospital to be transferred to the quarantine zone

The Tbilisi Republican Hospital will be released of all patients and transferred to the quarantine zone. The Hospital Director provides information.

“The Hospital will be emptied and transferred to the quarantine zone today to accommodate all risk patients. We expect high-risk patients, are ready for observation, and follow on acts. The patients that were treated in our Hospital will be re-allocated in different hospitals. The staff remains in the Hospital, and we are ready to accept 88 patients. The staff undergoes special training on how to act in cases of virus detection.” – said Levan Gopodze.

Three coronavirus cases are registered in Georgia. Public schools and kindergartens go for a 2-week spring vacation. One hundred and seventy people are placed in the quarantine.
