Georgian president pays homage to Holocaust victims

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has paid tribute to the victims of the Holocaust, according to the President's Press Office.

At the Orbeliani Palace, Zurabishvili also met with Rabbi Ben-Zion Israelishvili, Rabbi Aharon Mdinaradze, Georgian Ambassador to Israel Lasha Zhvania, and Georgia's state trustee in Israel, Smadar Zemakh Razabi. 

At the meeting, they remembered millions of victims of the Holocaust and lit candles to commemorate them.  

January 27 is an International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
