Government's each decision aims to reach balance, according to Georgian Vice PM

"Obviously, carrying out unpopular measures is hard for any government; even talks about the most lenient restrictions are uncomfortable for us," Georgian deputy prime minister Maia Tskitishvili said.

The Vice PM stressed that each decision by the government from the very beginning of the pandemic aimed to reach a balance between the country's economy and citizens' health. "We long to lift restrictions, maybe even more than the opposition, but we can feel our responsibility before the country, its economic development, and the people," she declared.

The government has decided to remove some restrictions earlier than planned.
